As for the upgraded versions of Tier 1 to 7 units, it depends on the version. Some players or experts create slightly different versions of Awakening of God.
However, Rhodes is now in a dilemma: which city should he upgrade? He currently has an Undead City and an Elemental City.
Rhodes clicked to view the upgrades of units from level 1 to 7. For the Undead race, the level 1 unit is upgraded to a Skeleton Warrior, with attributes of 7 attack power, 9 defense, and 6 health. Other attributes are the same as the Skeleton Warrior.
The upgraded version of the Tier 2 unit is the Ghoul, with an attack and defense of 5, increased health to 25, and speed increased to 6. Moreover, it can remove all buff spells from the enemy after attacking, which is a significant boost for Qiang Ge.
However, this unit type is somewhat lackluster, and Azeroth also has this unit type; the Scourge has ghouls, which are upgraded to wraiths at level 3, with an attack power of 9, defense of 7, and health of 20, and are unaffected by fire magic.
Tier 4 Vampire Elder: Attack and Defense stats increased to 12, Health increased to 50, Damage 5-8, unit special skills are the same as Vampire King.
The Tier 5 unit is upgraded to the Lich King, with an attack power of 15, defense power of 10, and health of 45. It comes with a magic spell that hits every time.
The Tier 6 unit, Death Knight, has an attack and defense of 20, a damage of 20-35, and 140 health. It has an additional special skill: its attack power increases when attacking enemies with less than 30% health. However, this skill enhancement is essentially negligible.
The enhancements to Elemental City are also quite impressive. The level 1 unit, the Great Elf, has been upgraded to a Fairy Elf. Its attack and defense remain unchanged, but its speed has been increased to 10, and its special ability can now unleash the Holy Spirit's Blessing magic.
Tier 2 soldier, upgraded from lightning element to storm element, with 10 attack and defense, 30 health, 3-8 damage, and 10 speed. Can cast atmospheric shield magic and engage in close combat without reducing damage.
The lightning elemental is already a level 3 unit, but after the upgrade, it's definitely a level 4 unit, and even a level 5 unit that's strong when used as a ranged unit.
The level 3 unit Ice Elemental is upgraded to Blizzard Elemental, which is also a ranged unit with an attack and defense of 10, a damage of 3-7, a health of 30, and a speed of 8.
The unit's special abilities include undiminished melee damage, the ability to unleash Holy Spirit Protection, and the fact that it already possesses Holy Spirit Protection.
The Tier 4 unit, Fire Elemental, is upgraded to Plasma Elemental. It gains 12 attack and 10 defense, but its health remains a pitiful 35, and its damage output remains unchanged.
It only adds a Fiery Shield and the ability to cast Fiery Shields on other units, making it essentially a mini-Fire Daddy.
The Tier 5 Stone Elemental unit is upgraded to the Ore Elemental. Its attack power is 11, defense is 12, damage is 8-10, and health is 40. It remains the weakest Tier 5 unit.
The unit now has an additional special ability: the ability to cast Protective Stone Skin, and it comes with Protective Stone Skin by default.
The elemental units remain as weak as ever; even after being upgraded, the level 4 and 5 units are still underwhelming. However, the fact that all four elemental units come with their own magic and can cast spells is quite impressive.
Next is the upgrade of the level 6 unit magic element, the Void Elemental. This Void Elemental is purple all over and somewhat resembles the shadow creatures of Azeroth.
Attack 18, Defense 15, Damage 20-30, Health 90, Special Unit Skill: Attacks all enemies, immune to magic, enemies cannot retaliate.
However, it also has a special skill: on the battlefield, the magic points consumed by enemies will be stolen and added to the hero's magic points, and it can also dispel beneficial magic from enemies.
Overall, the Undead race's improvement is not significant, and Rhodes is considering using Scourge technology to strengthen his Undead army. Some Scourge technologies can completely enhance his Necropolis units; for example, zombies can be upgraded into ghouls.
Furthermore, through treatment, parts of a zombie's corpse can be removed and pieced together to create an Abomination, while Skeleton Soldiers can be upgraded to Skeleton Mages, and Dread Knights already have the upgrade to Death Knights.
Even the Tier 7 unit, the Ghost Dragon, now has an option for the Frost Dragon. Giving this opportunity to strengthen the city during the Awakening of the Gods to the Undead City is a bit of a waste, since Azshara already has ways to strengthen the Necropolis Undead race.
Given this opportunity for a comprehensive city upgrade, Rhodes decided, after some consideration, to choose Elemental City.
Although plasma and ore elements remain as underwhelming as ever, the other unit types are absolutely formidable, especially the Fairy Maiden and the Ice and Snow Element's Holy Blessing, these two skills are quite powerful.
The combat power of the Time-Space Elementalist is definitely inferior to that of the Death Knight, but Azeroth offers an upgrade option, so it's acceptable.
The Holy Phoenix, in terms of both quantity and unit special skills, completely overwhelms the Blood Dragon Demon.
Rhodes directly gave the golden God's Awakening upgrade opportunity to his Elemental City. With a burst of golden light, some new building options appeared in the Elemental City.
Okay, city enhancement gives you the building conditions for these Tier 8 units and upgraded versions of units, but it doesn't directly give you all of these unit buildings.
Several upgraded versions of units, as well as the building option for the Tier 8 unit, the Holy Phoenix, are now grayed out, and the building resources listed above leave Rhodes speechless.
First, there's the level 8 unit, the Advanced Phoenix Nest, which needs to be upgraded to the Spirit Vortex to recruit the Holy Phoenix. The price of this building left Rhodes speechless.
It requires 10 system gold, 200 each of wood and ore, 100 each of sulfur, mercury, gems, and crystals, and all buildings except wonders must be completed before it can be built. It also requires 10 mithril, a special resource.
The special buildings for other tiers 1 to 6 units are also very expensive, and a huge amount of resources are needed to build all of these enhanced units.
Okay! Resources that weren't scarce before suddenly became scarce again.
Chapter 158 The Archdruid has a green glow above his head! The Paladin troops have arrived.
This time we've really reaped a great harvest, gaining new magic and a large amount of high-level resources!
While upgrading new town buildings and strengthening level 8 units isn't enough, raising the elemental layer to level 7 and upgrading the Firebird to a Phoenix shouldn't be too much of a problem.
Rhodes opened the building page and directly selected to build a basic Phoenix Nest to recruit firebirds. If he could recruit firebirds and upgrade them into phoenixes when the Burning Legion invaded before, that would be awesome.
Rhodes did not choose to upgrade the advanced Phoenix Nest because he now has the Mountain Fortress and is not in a hurry to upgrade to advanced units. He only needs to build the basic buildings for now.
While Rhodes was tallying the spoils, the night elves, orcs, tauren, trolls, and other allied races of the night elves also began cleaning up the battlefield, piling up the remaining demon corpses and disposing of them using special methods.
If left unattended, the corpses of demons will corrode the entire land, and a large amount of fel energy will leak out from their bodies.
Humanity could be said to have participated in this war, but it could also be said that it did not, because only the four of them—Uther, Jaina, and Medivh—participated.
Although massive casualties were avoided, the human population as a whole was unaware of this epic battle.
However, if given the choice again, Rhode would still lead an elite squad into battle; humanity's foundation is still too weak.
We must rest and recuperate. The Scourge has dealt a heavy blow to humanity. If we were to participate in the Battle of Mount Hyjal again, at least tens of thousands more would die.
Moreover, they were all strong, able-bodied young men, soldiers with combat capabilities, so this loss was actually unnecessary.
"Rhodes, what are you thinking about?" Tyrande asked as she walked over.
“I’m just worried that quite a few small groups of demons have escaped, and we have to wipe them out,” Rhodes said.
Although they won this time, Archimonde's death triggered a massive fel explosion that killed over 90% of the Burning Legion demons. However, a large number of Burning Legion demons are still roaming the area.
"Yes! I've already considered this matter. I will send the Watchers to deal with the demons who escaped from the Battle of Mount Hyjal. Mave Shadowsong is very good at this."
"I will also have Shandris Feathermoon lead the Sentinel force, along with some druids, to hunt down these demons," Tyrande said.
With the Watchers, their own Sentinel forces, and a number of Druids, they should be able to wipe out the remaining demons, at least within the Night Elf territory.
"Are you sure? As far as I know, your relationship with Mave isn't that good, and this time you even released Illidan."
"I don't think he'll let this go easily. You'd better be prepared," Rod said.
Although Tyrande didn't massacre all the Watchers as in the original timeline, Maiev was still very unhappy about releasing Illidan.
In Mave's mind, Illidan has always been the Night Elf's greatest traitor, the greatest sinner, and the most dangerous person.
Even ten thousand years ago, the Night Elf leadership should have sentenced Illidan to death, but it was only because of Tyrande and Mario's protection that this demon survived.
"Hmph! Thank you for your concern, but I am the leader of the night elf race. Even if she harbors resentment towards me, she must obey my orders."
Besides, the order to release Illidan was given by the demigod Cenarius, not me.
Moreover, clearing out the surrounding demons would benefit the entire night elf race, and she would carry out this order. Tyrande crossed her arms and snorted coldly.
Previously in the Watchers' Cave, Mave's Watchers treated her very badly. If it weren't for the fact that only Rhodes was with her at the time and not her own personal guard of sentries, Tyrande would have already gone on a killing spree.
Tyrande thought of this and glanced at Rhodes. If it were the Rhodes from ten thousand years ago, he would help her, as long as she asked, given their relationship.
Rhodes would definitely have helped, what a pity!
There are some things she can't tell Rhodes right now, at least not yet; she almost let it slip last time.
Judging by the timeline, this kid should be able to return to 1 years ago in about a year; I just need to wait a little longer.
Once this kid returns from 1 years ago, the score between the two of them should be settled properly.
“I understand! Don’t hesitate to ask if you need any help,” Rod said.
“I won’t stand on ceremony with you, but not now. Go celebrate! Your human companions are waiting for you.” Tyrande nodded to Rhodes, then turned and left.
Tyrande came to Malfurion's side and continued to direct the cleanup of the battlefield along with some leaders of other races.
Rhodes breathed a sigh of relief after seeing the old lady Tyrande leave. He always had a creepy feeling when he was with Tyrande.
What exactly happened 10,000 years ago?
Rhodes' gaze fell on Malfurion, the archdruid whose head was covered in green. Had he done something wrong by traveling back ten thousand years?
It shouldn't be that Malfurion treats him so well, and Cenarius does too, so why is that? Rhodes was full of questions.
But Rhodes didn't dare ask Malfurion about this, because Tyrande had said that if the Malfurion brothers found out, they would both want to kill him.
It's uncertain whether Malfurion will come up and kill Rhodes, but Illidan definitely will. However, his love for Tyrande has reached a point of obsession and madness.
Rhodes sighed, got up, and went to Jaina and Uther's side.
“Rhodes, you’ve come at the right time. Jaina and I were just discussing having her and Caponia open a portal to summon the humans from Dustwallow Marsh to help the night elves clean up the battlefield and also deal with the surrounding demons,” Uther said as he saw Rhodes arrive.
In the final stages of this war, Uther was actually very keen to involve humans, especially his own paladin forces. The paladins of the Silver Hand had always longed for revenge against the Scourge and the Burning Legion demons behind them.
“I doubt their combined magical power could support such a large portal!” Rhodes said.
"Don't underestimate us, Rhodes. With our current magical power, we can at least teleport some of the high elves' archmages over."
"Then we can work together to create a teleportation array, open a portal that lasts for several hours, and summon thousands of people without any problem," said the female elf Caponia.
Before they arrived, he and Jaina had already devised a plan. If necessary, they could actually pull the human forces from the Dustwallow Marsh region over.
All you need to do is summon some high elf mages and the Dalaran mages who follow Jaina, and then everyone can work together.
Rhodes was stunned when he heard this. "Holy crap, there's such a thing? That's something I can do."
It would be good to have paladin and priest troops, along with some elite high elves and dwarves, come to help clear out the Burning Legion demons.
“Lady Caponia is right, Rhodes. The two of us have enough magic to do that,” Jaina said, walking over as well.
"That's a good idea. You two can start setting up the teleportation magic circle now!"
"Just summon paladins, priests, dwarves, elite musketeers, high elf spellbreakers, and mages." Rhodes nodded in agreement with the two women.
After obtaining Rhodes's consent, the two female mages immediately found an open space and began to cast a teleportation spell together.
After the two cast the teleportation spell, the human mages and high elf mages in the direction of Dustwallow Marsh immediately sensed it and began to coordinate their spells.
Soon, some human mages and high elf mages were summoned, and then more than 20 mages joined forces to construct a large teleportation array using various materials.
After the magic circle was completed, a large number of human paladins wearing anti-magic metal armor and wielding anti-magic weapons, as well as a large number of priests, mages, dwarves, musketeers, and dwarven hunters were teleported over.
"Is a battle waiting for us? Lord Uther and Lord Rhodes, we can't wait!" The leading paladin, Baldr of Light, immediately approached Rhodes and Uther and asked.
When Rhodes went to release Illidan, Uther had already informed the paladins that a great battle was about to take place, and the humans had been making preparations.
After the teleportation array was activated, the arriving paladins thought a great battle awaited them.
"Ahem, Knight Bald, there is indeed a battle waiting for you. Some of the demons here have already been cleared out."
"However, some demons have already fled down the mountain. I hope you will take men to eliminate them," Rhodes said, coughing twice.
"So it's just cleaning up the battlefield?" A dwarven musketeer looked around. It was clear that a fierce battle had taken place here, so they hadn't been there at all.
