Chapter 1090: Magic Swordsman

Inside the Orian Guild, the presentation was going as normal. There were those placed on the first ground floor looking at things going on, enjoying their peaceful day.

For them, this was a rest day. It wasn't as if their presence was needed, but they were more so there just to make sure things went smoothly with the event.

On the second floor, there were those that were just waiting peacefully, even yawning as it was going on a little longer than they expected.

"I wonder when this will end?" One of the Orian Guild members said.

"Fear the Unseen," a voice whispered in the right side of his ear.

The Guild member quickly turned his head, but a dark palm filled with magic already latched right onto his face, destroying every part of it.

"For we are always near," the Dark Guild member said as he pulled his hand away, looking at the dead mage that was now on the floor.

"ARGHHHH!" screams were heard coming from the other side, and immediately, Azbeth along with the rest of the crowd looked up.

They could see on the second floor, a large number of people dressed in dark robes had entered the scene and were fighting head-on, taking out most of the Orian Guild members by surprise and in a single blow.

One of the men was standing on the second floor, holding onto his arm. He had been hit just by the side but managed to avoid a deathly blow.

"Fireball!" The man shouted, shooting out the attack.

At the same time, the man in a robe waved both hands in the air.

"Dark Void!" Dark magic swirled, and as it hit the fireball, it was breaking it apart into nothing but particles, and right after he was done, he placed his hand forward.

"Dark Pulse!" A beam of energy shot out and broke right through the barrier of the mage, hitting the man in the chest. He slowly walked backward as his back hit the guard rail.

"What type of magic... breaks through a barrier that easily?" were the last man's words as his body toppled over, and he fell crashing onto the first floor.

"What's going on!" The parents and students were startled as they quickly stood up in their seats and started to huddle together.

Azbeth and his two sword mages by his side were the only ones that seemingly were making a difference, as they continued to slash through Dark Mages bit by bit, with support from the stage until...

The mages on stage felt something stab them right from behind. When they looked down, it looked almost like a dark tentacle had exited out from their stomachs as it pulled back. All of them fell to the floor.

"Azbeth!" a voice shouted out.

Azbeth stopped with his two warriors and turned to the stage.

"You should look around; the situation, it's clearly done and over with!" The man on the stage was none other than Harvey, who had a large, physical dark shadow hovering over his

back.

It looked like a creature out of a nightmare was behind him on that stage, but what was even worse was the fact that when Azbeth looked around, only he and the two by his side were now

alive.

"Why do this? Who are you guys!" Azbeth shouted.

Harvey was inwardly smiling and stared at the people who were filming him, who were

broadcasting his every word.

"I thought you would never ask; we are the Dark Guild!" Harvey claimed.

Wind, fire, and lightning were three elements that Azbeth was good at, and for him, it was the perfect combination to go with his magic swordsmanship.
