Chapter 340. Uniting the Races, Two Great Superpowers

The Eternals had descended once again. But unlike the other Outer Cosmos beings, their target was Mount Tai from the very start.

Each one of them exuded extraordinarily powerful aura since every single one of them had reached the Lesser Sage Realm.

From that alone, it was obvious that these members of the Eternals likely held extremely high status within their race.

The moment they appeared, some of the other Outer Cosmos races also began paying close attention, because everyone knew what had happened back at Yellow Mountain, in the Immortal Cave Secret Realm, where Lu Yuan had clashed with Yu Heng.

Yu Heng was one of the Eternals' Rankers.

He had not held an especially high rank but was still considered one of the prodigies of the clan. Moreover, there were also two other Eternals with him then.

Yet, all three of them were buried forever within Yellow Mountain.

This was a grudge meant to be settled sooner or later.

In particular, many of the Outer Cosmos beings knew that the Eternals were not only powerful, but also extremely overbearing in the way they conducted themselves. If something happened to one of their own, they would definitely think of every possible way to retaliate. After all, this was not the first time such a thing had happened.

So when they learned that several members of the Eternals had descended, they all immediately understood.

Their target was Lu Yuan.

One after another, they chose to head over to Mount Tai and watch.

The Eternals were inherently blessed with incredibly powerful talent, and they rarely had rivals within the same realm. Now that several Lesser Sages had appeared, if a clash broke out between them and Lu Yuan, or even the so-called Celestial Court of Earth, then it was not necessarily bad news for the other Outer Cosmos beings.

Outer Cosmos beings, including some powerful figures among them, continued gathering there.

Strangely though, the Eternals were moving very slowly. They did not seem in any hurry at all, which left many puzzled.

"They've made their calculations well enough. They know that with their current strength, dealing with Lu Yuan, let alone erasing him, will be difficult. They need enough power for that. Moving slowly means they likely intend to join hands with the other races as well."

When Ji Hongyu of the Ji Clan heard this, a faint smile immediately appeared on his face.

He had descended earlier than the Eternals, but his actions in recent days had been exceptionally low-key.

He had not taken the initiative to seize any famous mountains or great rivers either. Reason being, there was no need to rush.

The key matter at hand was to understand the exact changes that had taken place in this world.

Of course, more importantly, the Ji Clan was not invincible. The top ten races of the top hundred starfields were all gradually descending as well.

Right now, those people had yet to move. Most of them were still lying low for the time being. Under such circumstances, Ji Hongyu had more than enough patience to play the waiting game too.

Now that the Eternals had descended and their first move was to seek out Lu Yuan, he naturally understood their intention.

Whenever they suffer a loss against anyone, they usually strike back directly. If they want to deal with Lu Yuan, there should be no need for them to join forces with anyone, right?"

Their reputation was simply too great. So when she heard that they intended to cooperate with the other races, she found it hard to believe.

"The Eternals are indeed overbearing and tyrannical, but they are not fools. They know that unless the truly powerful experts of their race can descend, dealing with Lu Yuan will be nearly impossible. But at the same time, they cannot leave the matter unresolved, or they would lose face.

"In that case, they may as well join forces with the other races that also want Lu Yuan dead."

Ji Hongyu had already reached the Great Sage Realm. He was powerful, but he was also exceptional in every aspect, and especially so when it came to situation awareness and judgement.

Just like now, he had already seen through the Eternals' intentions.

"Then should we make a move as well?" Zhou Yunqiong asked.

Ever since her descent, Zhou Yunqiong had thought of little besides revenge. Unfortunately, the time had not yet come, and with Ji Hongyu and the others urging her not to act rashly, all she could do was wait.

Besides, with the Eternals standing in front, there naturally should not be any problem.

A smile immediately spread across Zhou Yunqiong's face. She had always wanted revenge, and now, at last, the opportunity had come.

News soon arrived that the Ji Clan had answered the Eternals' call and was preparing to send people to Mount Tai alongside them.
