Chapter 808: Power of Star Energy

Nick just looked at Gluttony as it was getting ready to swallow him.

The person holding the spear immediately pulled out a vial and emptied its contents all over Gluttony's body.

Three Protectors stood together and channeled different abilities that could suppress Force Specters to keep Gluttony in place.

Several more shots fired.

BANG!

Pieces of a Specter Core were blasted out of Gluttony's body.

It was over.

The Specter Core represented the existence of a Specter.

If the Specter Core was damaged, the Specter would receive devastating injuries, at the very least.

Most of the time, it just symbolized death.

Just to make sure, everyone continued attacking until there was nothing left.

Eventually, the Protectors calmed down.

They had done it!

They had killed one of the Corruptors.

"Focus!" one of the Protectors ordered."Follow the plan!"

A moment later, everyone looked at Nick.

"Nothing," Nick answered, telling them that there were no Specters nearby.

Naturally, the Trio of Destruction would immediately become active when Gluttony died, and it was uncertain what they would do.

Thanks to Nick, the Protectors knew that they were not the ones being attacked by the Trio of Destruction.

But that had been expected.

All of Aegis' Shields were ready for battle, and they could appear anywhere.

If the Knife was hiding near the group, the day could end with a dead Specter from the Trio of Destruction.
