Chapter 1

Cloudy, dark clouds.

"Xu Jianing, why, why. I beg you, tell me, how can I become as gentle as you."

Wen Yu screamed at Xu Jianing in despair, and slumped on the ground.

The rain started to fall.

Xu Jianing didn't answer, just stood there looking at her, watching Wen Yu curled up on the ground, crying silently.

Wen Yu's tears kept flowing, blurring her eyes.

She saw Xu Jianing standing where she was, then turned around and left, Xu Jianing's figure became indistinct, and finally disappeared.

Wen Yu suddenly woke up from the dream, breaking out in a cold sweat.

It wasn't until I fully woke up that I realized it was just a nonsensical dream.

But Wen Yu was still very scared, she didn't want Xu Jianing to just disappear like in her dream.

In the dilapidated wooden house, the cold wind is still blowing through the leaks.

Wen Yu couldn't fall asleep at all, she wrapped herself tightly in a quilt.

Wen Yu was still stuck in that dream, she wanted to see Xu Jianing.

But it was almost daylight.
