Chapter 2077: Bamboo God -Part 2

"Sorry to keep you waiting, I needed some time to motivate my troops a little," Jin said to Elder Bai as the Village Chief proceeded to escort him to the basement.

"No, I should thank you for delaying the inevitable. Your memories had gave me pause that our lives could potentially continue in other worlds. We thought that you were lying to us and that you were merely just a part of this world that we could not see or reach. To think that there was so much we did not know.

I do not know whether we should lament at the fact that we had devoted so much time to our god and not learn the truth of this universe...or universes."

"Then I apologise for putting this seed of doubt into your head. I could have resisted and not show you all of these at all."

"No, you gave me a clearer picture and possible route for my Pandarians to survive if this does not work out. And the fact that you bestowed us with your presence might have been a blessing in disguise either by the works of Bamboo God or through destiny. From what I see, your fate had been intertwined with Pandas so I should consider your options carefully."

"Regardless of fate or blessing, the fact still remains that if we do not remove the source of the problem, this dungeon will definitely cause an outbreak in my kingdom and then, we might truly have no place to go. To me right now, I will look at you and your village as a kind of resource.

The type where I will need to utilise you to the fullest potential so that I can provide sufficient reasoning to my kingdom that this ally is worth bringing back."

"But without our Bamboo God, there is nothing much we can do since most of our powers are derived through the devotion of our Bamboo God." Elder Bai continued to say and Jin realised that they were not just devotees but possibly a cult itself especially with such devotion to their God.

"But right now, I am just going to improvise smith so that it would aid the village defences and provide the necessary magic so that it can sustain the onslaughts from the Orcs. Do you have any idea who is the boss of those orcs?" Jin asked as he knew that there must be a big bad guy at the top of those orcs or else they would never clear this dungeon.

But whether the orc would come to the village or Jin had to go after it, would be a different issue of its own. All Jin knows is that Ress is temporarily in the safe hands of his isolation barrier and he is still able to get things working without the military might on his home grounds.

"No, I do not have any idea who the lead orc chieftain is. But I do know what thing. Ever since the start of the attack, I could sense the faint aura of a particularly strong monster hiding from afar. He is not pretending to keep his strength hidden."

"You know...that information could be pretty useful if you had told us earlier during the meeting?" Jin sighed as he had already sent out Kraft's Star Foxes into the fray against the Dune Shell Orcs. "I could have told my men to find out the location of the boss." Jin sighed as he believed it was a little too late. "But I am guessing the faint aura is also not as easy to pinpoint?"

"Yes, that is also the reason why I am unable to give a proper answer and afraid that it will force your troops to move haphazardly to find the source of the problem."

"No matter. So, do I need to respect any sort of religious dos and do nots before I improvise smith?" Jin asked and Elder Bai was delighted that he had at least asked for that.

"Considering that we have some time on our hands, I will ask for forgiveness first before allowing you to provide this...improvised smithing skill." Elder Bai said and Jin nodded his head, giving him the ample time needed to ensure that he would be able to do his job.
