Chapter 1065 Rat In Titan
Chapter 1065 Rat In Titan
As the nuns pushed forward, the oven demon growled, unable to believe what his eyes were seeing. A holy crusade of vampire nuns, supported by a wave of bloodthirsty vampire dragons from the sky.
"Good...Good." He nodded with a smile, looking forward as Arad took a step toward him. Arad had already teleported past all of the fighting and was no more than a hundred meters away from the oven demon. He walked, slowly like a pigeon and the demon could only spot his smile and burning purple eyes as hell roared behind him.
"To think I'd be this lucky to find you here...or unlucky it seems." The oven demon started walking toward Arad until they stood no more than two meters away from each other.
"You aren't a demon...what are you?" Arad could sniff several different types of blood inside this walking oven. A human scent, a demon scent, a demonic scent followed by oil, ash, and the stench of rotten flesh.
"Observant, indeed." The oven stood tall, its head opened out and a steel plate emerged carrying a black leather chair. On that chair, a black rat with four arms and an eyepatch was sitting.
"An abomination, never seen one that looked like a rat." Arad lifted a fist, "But I don't care who you are or what you came for. This is my layer, scram."
"Sadly I can't do that, as much as I want to." The rat shook his head, "I know you won't give a rat's ass about me, I'm the rat here after all." He pulled the levers inside his cockpit and slid back. "We can only fight to the death here."
As the rat returned into the oven it closed after him and grew larger. Blood splashed from its limbs as the steel plates shifted and twisted, ending in a three-meter-tall humanoid robot with human legs and arms.
Arad had never seen such a monstrosity before. While the legs clearly belonged to a woman as they still wore her high heels, those hairy massive arms belonged to a man. The middle section was where the rat piloted this abomination, an armored steel case akin to plate armor but with lightning crackling from its cracks.
Since this abomination didn't have a head Arad or visible eyes Arad had to guess who it was seeing, but it took him only a second to notice that those crystal nipple-like things on its chest were the eyes.
"I guess you won't leave nicely." Arad clenched his fist and swung it at the abomination with his full strength, blasting him to pieces. It was as tough as Arad expected, if he knew it was this weak he could've left before and let the dragons deal with him.
"Oooh! Yeah..." The rat's voice boomed out, "The death curse, how sweet, how refreshing!" Arad looked around to see the abomination's pieces floating on their own, sparking with a strange magic.
The fight wasn't over, it just started. Countless legs burst from the ground, trying to stab Arad with the sharp heels.
Arad dodged the attacks with ease, but his mind wasn't at ease. Something still felt off, this rat...it should be an abomination, but Arad got this deep feeling of dread as if he shouldn't kill it.
"My clone. Did you think I won't sense you sneaking out?" Arad smiled.
"Honestly? No, I thought you'd be fooled. I guess mom's words were right after all, but how much of them is right, I can only wonder." The kid stood and faced Arad, "What's now? Trying to kill me?"
"Not before I find out why were you trying to kill Merlin." Arad looked at him with a passive face, "Can't say I know you."
"That's my mom." The kind pointed out, "Same hair, eyes, and a think weak body to boots."
"Merlin never had a child, do you take me for a fool, kid." Arad smiled and the kid laughed, "Maybe cheated on you, fool. Ask her."
"You really take me for a fool." Arad had seen Merlin naked more than once, and he knew for a fact she was a virgin, at least, she was half an hour ago in the bath.
The kid smiled, "I'm not taking you for a fool, Dad. I know for a fact you're one. A big old dumb bear." The kind waved a hand as he stared at Arad with a smug face, "I can't kill you 'cause you're stronger than me so I thought mom might be an easier target...guess I'm too weak mentally to do it."
"If you don't want to speak then so be it." Arad lifted one hand, "You'll tell the truth with enough pain."
"And what did I do to deserve that?" The kid waved his hands in protest... "Wait, trying to kill you and Mom is a good enough reason to bring the belt...you used to wear two." He looked back at Merlin, "But...I'm too old for that now..."
"Are you trying to rat it out of here like earlier? Not a chance. Besides, since when did I have a rat of a son? You're that of a coward to fight?" Arad crossed his arms, staring at the kid with a smile.
"Said the big black fat rat of a father I have. But, I've got one advice for you, Dad. You'll always be the protagonist, but you won't always be the Hero." The kid disappeared in the blink of an eye and Arad frowned.
^This feeling...he didn't teleport away, his smell leads back to the battlefield and out of this layer, as if he walked all the way there.^ Arad followed the kid's smell until he reached a cave with a massive teleportation circle.
The teleportation circle was used just recently, seconds ago. The kid had used this to run away. ^Hmmm...destroyed, too well to be on accident.^ The circle was damaged in a way that prevented Arad from copying or tracking it, the little bastard seems to have known a thing or two about Arad.
"Ripped time apart, ran here, and used this to escape, but he had time to cover his tracks and destroy anything I could've used to track him." Arad sighed, "A master of time and teleportation magic, has a hint of vampiric blood, strange flesh magic, and is able to use druidic spells to turn into a rat..."
As Arad turned to leave the teleportation circle exploded behind him, blasting him away. "What..." Arad growled as he barely stood, burned to a crisp. "That...brat!"
A message floated in the air, "Mom loves vanilla, all high humans do, especially if it's a cake." Arad read the message and then growled, punching the ground. "Don't let me catch you BRAT!"
