Chapter 625: Not Right At All.
Chapter 625: Not Right At All.
A white hammer flew over to Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer and smashed into his body. The white hammer sank into his body and into the core of his Cave Heaven, where it began to multiply like some virus.
one white hammer quickly became 16 hammers. Then the white hammers struck down on his Life Fire. With each strike, the white hammers exploded and discharged all of their power at once.
The same thing happened to Monarch Heavy Anvil when a white hammer appeared in Loki’s hand and he threw it over. This experience taught the two of them that the Soul Hammer can attack more than one person at the same time, and it can even continue to multiply within the person as long as its wielder has the lifespan to spar for the multiplication.
Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer and Monarch Heavy Anvil chose to do the same thing. They chose to run out of the world barrier in hopes that they would be able to escape.
Unfortunately for them, they could only use the power of their Cave Heaven to run. On the other hand, Loki seemed to be unaffected by the world barrier. So he could use his Divine Metacs to enhance his power.
This is why Loki was able to catch up to them. He didn’t beat them, though.
After catching up to them, he grabbed them and brought them back into the world barrier. He held both of their hands to prevent them from leaving while he watched them die.
The two of them didn’t like what he was doing at all. They kicked him and cursed him with all of their might. When that didn’t work, they cut off their hands so that they could get away from him.
Without talking, the two of them picked different directions to run. But Loki was always able to catch them and bring them back.
He actually didn’t need to force them to stay here in the world barrier to kill them. He can let them go because his Soul Hammer has already lodged itself in the core of their Cave Heaven and will continue to smash their Life Fire so as to put it out.
So he only needed more time to kill them, and they will die regardless of where they run. However, he decided to keep them here because the siphoning force of the world barrier will drain them of their lifespan every second, which makes it easier to kill them and also costs him less of his lifespan to kill them.
Since the two of them couldn’t escape, they began calling for help. Monarch Craftsman’s Hammer didn’t have reliable people to ask to rescue him, but he made the offer to everyone he knew to come and save him in exchange for world essence.
On the other hand, Monarch Heavy Anvil was in an alliance, and he had even surrendered his Cave Heaven, so he had a lot of people who didn’t want him to die. So he didn’t need to offer any benefit before the divine beings in his alliance came rushing over.
On the other side, in the first dimension, the Monarch Crown of Metal had finally reached the limit. Outwardly, she looked frozen with her body flickering like a candle in the wind.
No one knew what was going on within her, so they began to speculate. Some even decided to take this opportunity to kill her. So two divine beings appeared and began creeping closer to her to take advantage of her helplessness.
But even before these two could become certain that she was helpless and before they could attack her, she reached the end of the road. She ran out of lifespan after the fifteenth hammer exploded in the core of her Cave Heaven.
After spending 3,528 years of her lifespan, she had only 62 years of her lifespan left. Each strike needed 252 years of lifespan to offset, so when the fifteenth hammer exploded in her mind, what was left of her lifespan wasn’t enough to prevent her Life Fire from being overwhelmed by the explosion.
Her Life Fire went out, so her body shattered, and the light of her Divine Position went out. Then the Divine Position separated from her Cave Heaven.
This was what everyone saw after a minute of wondering what was going on with her. But even after getting the answer to their question, they couldn’t believe this was really what was happening.
Monarch Floating Furnace said in surprise, "She died? That rank 6 divine being killed her?"
Monarch Machine Body said in reply, "It would seem so."
But Monarch Floating Furnace refused to accept it. He shook his head and said, "That can’t be right. She is a rank 7 cultivator, and that should count for something."
"Even if she is not part of an alliance, she is not someone some rank 6 divine being can kill like this. Not unless he has a lot of lifespan and has surrendered his Cave Heaven to an alliance."
What he said was reasonable, so Monarch Machine Body nodded and said, "That is true. It seems he has hidden his strength more than we expected. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since no divine being will make a move openly like this without having something prepared to deal with the fallout of greedy people trying to take what he created."
Monarch Armored Shell also said, "And that Divine Metac is spiritual. We forgers aren’t good with spiritual matters and are especially susceptible to them. So I bet that Craftsman’s Hammer and Heavy Anvil won’t have it so easy. In fact, things might not turn out well for them."
Monarch Floating Furnace nodded and said in agreement, "She was the weakest one, but if she can die, then the other two aren’t safe. However, I think Craftsman’s Hammer will be at the most risk since he is independent. Heavy Anvil has a large Cave Heaven, so he should be fine."
