Chapter 1146: Bone Lord, Blood Demon 4.
The moment he unleashed the Sanguine Bloodline, Alec grew slightly taller, but that wasn’t all, his nails elongated, and his eyes turned completely red as he spread his arms outward. His realm began to climb and had already entered the Low Tier 7.
That finally caused a reaction in the face of the Tier 8 Zerg. Until now, it had simply been waiting to see what Alec could do, as it wanted to break Alec’s will, regardless of what Alec did, as it felt that was what it meant to be Tier 8—always having an overwhelming confidence that anyone below that realm was worth less than dust.
But now, apart from the rising pressure Alec’s realm was giving off, its danger sense began to blare, and that was because pools of blood were rising into the sky all around them, though it didn’t fully understand what Alec intended to do with them, however the sheer range and influence of his control made it realize that waiting to find out would be a mistake.
Boom!
A sonic blast rang out as it dashed forward, trying to catch Alec by surprise, the force of its movement sent dust and debris exploding everywhere as it thrust its hand out, but the dust cleared almost as quickly as it had risen.
Its outstretched hand was only a few meters away from Alec’s face, yet no matter how hard it tried, it could not push forward any farther.
Its arm had been seized by two massive blood hands; they were not formed from pure red blood alone, but from blood of different colors, shaped from the countless dead Zergs scattered across the battlefield.
“In a battlefield drenched in the blood of the dead,” Alec said as he raised his right hand toward the Abyssal Brood Lord, “I alone am the honored one.”
And before his outstretched palm, blood began to gather and compress without end. At first, the power behind the tiny blood sphere was so negligible that it might not even have been enough to kill a Tier 4 Zerg.
But as time passed and Alec continued compressing more blood, drawing it toward himself in floating streams from all around the battlefield, the Abyssal Lord then began to grow uneasy.
It could already feel that the small compressed blood orb had become dangerous, and if Alec were allowed to keep gathering more, then death would be inevitable.
Its free hand elongated into a blade and was coated in flames as it slashed toward Alec, but Alec simply raised his right palm, and a sturdy dome of blood formed around him, as a loud bang rang out as friction burst between the two forces.
Yet every time the blade Qi seemed ready to cut deeper, another stream of blood would immediately rush over to reinforce the damaged area, this continued for nearly a minute before the power behind the slash finally wore off and dispersed.
Almost at the same instant, the blood dome surrounding Alec collapsed. But rather than disintegrating or falling back to the ground, the blood began to revolve around him like celestial bodies orbiting a planet.
“Finally,” Alec muttered.
Before him floated something that looked like a crimson tear, suspended in the air as if it possessed a will of its own.
At this point, Alec didn’t even seem to care that the Abyssal Brood Lord had escaped the restraint during the time he had been enclosed within the blood dome.
He stared at the floating blood with such passion that the nearby Zerg couldn’t help but wonder what kind of mad human it had crossed paths with. Alec had spent the blood of thousands just to create what looked like a single shining vial of blood.
But Alec couldn’t care less about what it thought, he unsheathed both of his bone weapons, the katana and the wakizashi, then began breaking them down until the two weapons fused together and transformed into a small mass of bone essence.
Without wasting any time, Alec fused the bone essence with the compressed vial of blood floating before him while chanting, at the same time, he dug his claws deep into his own palm, letting his blood pour into the flash of light that had appeared before him as he forced the bone essence and blood vial to merge.
And just like that, a system message appeared before him.

“You shall be called Vermis,” Alec said as the light finally subsided. Before him, his newest golem knelt on one knee, bowing toward him.
“I thank Master for giving me such a fine name,” Vermis said.
“Rise,” Alec ordered, wanting to get a proper look at his new golem, which he had created using his bone weapon, that katana had stayed with him for the longest and alec as able to tell that it had awakened an ego and consciousness hence his action despite the fact that he would be losing a very good weapon.
At once, Vermis stood up after his Alec’s order, he was slightly taller than Alec, and like all of Alec’s golems, he possessed a humanoid form.
However, his body looked like pure muscle without flesh, almost like a miniature version of the Colossal Titan, only this one had bones exposed all over his body, the rib cage and every other skeletal structure sat on him like armor, as though the bones themselves had become a defensive framework meant to protect him.
Bang!
The Tier 8 Zerg returned, but this time it was already covered in what looked like an even sturdier exoskeleton, and that wasn’t all,it was now wielding two bone swords.
“I shall kill—” Vermis began, but Alec stopped him by shaking his head.
“This is my fight. I’ll deal with him myself. Go and create your own captain-rank army, you’re still weak,” Alec said before turning toward the Tier 8 Zerg, a blood blade began to materialize in his hand, while the Bloody Changdao at his waist was drawn by his left hand and stabbed straight into his own chest.

“Like I said, your death is going to be a very painful one,” Alec said as he faced the Abyssal Brood Lord, who now looked completely enraged.
The fact that he had retreated earlier, when he should have attacked Alec, still burned inside him. The fear he had felt from that compressed blood had left a deep stain on his pride, and it only made him even more furious when he realized the human before him had merely used that moment to create another golem.
