Chapter 98 - 134 - A fated Villainess
Bang!
Bang!
BOOOOM!
Several sounds of destruction echoed, tearing through the vast ocean within which a war between Cratens and unknown forces was ongoing.
"They just keep coming, Morgan!"
One of the women with features of a Craten shouted, seeing her husband exhausted to the point where dozens of creatures tore into his defences, their saliva burning his skin to flesh.
"Y-you bastards, Uugggghh!"
BOOM!
With a water tornado, the creatures were thrown away to some distance before getting sliced into several pieces due to the sharpness of waves created by the tornado.
"Haaa... haa... Thanks, Estelle," Morgan being saved, turned towards his savior—a young woman with half of her face burned, yet the marks didn’t hide the aura of elegance and beauty shrouding her.
"Uncle Morgan, please, I’ve already told you, you don’t have to push yourself", With a weak tone, Estelle’s exhausted eyes turned towards the middle-aged man lying on the ground with one of his hands severed.
She kept looking at Morgan — Last survivor among the present Admirals.
Seeing her uncle’s severed hand from a previous battle, her eyes turned cold.
Things were just getting out of hand; all five gates, protected by five Admirals, were breached by thousands of Elemental Creatures — Pyromentals — with the base element of fire.
Normally, it wouldn’t have been a problem to fight inside this vast ocean with an element like Fire, which could have become weak.
But somehow, these creatures are burning like magma inside water, and they keep coming even after being killed every time — their numbers seemed unending.
Due to Estelle and the sacrifice of her father, accompanied by other Admirals who stood vanguard against a different kind of race coming out of a wormhole, Cratens at least knew the origin of these creatures — the Hidden Realm.
Half of the Human realm is destroyed; the Vendal Kingdom has fallen, with many heroes buried within it, leaving only a few remaining ones trying to stop upcoming attacks from the Hedrian Kingdom.
Estelle looked towards the darkened sea, filled with an infinite number of creatures blocked by a transparent barrier, still not strong enough to stop all of them.
Out of 1000, a few single digits entered with missing limbs.
These creatures were controlled by several Generals — figures giving instructions to these mindless crab-like creatures.
Her eyes turned towards thousands of Craten soldiers standing their ground, even though they knew they would lose.
But seeing how the Generals, who seemed indestructible moments ago, were dealt with gave them future hope; they stood using their sheer will.
Estelle and Hursen had killed nine PyroGenerals, making them present heroes.
But for Estelle, who understood the reality behind this facade, it was only despair.
She knew what they were facing right now was just the tip of the iceberg, and the Generals were only the second tier in a hierarchy like a monarch or something.
Despair was the only thing inside her mind. Thinking, if these Generals were this strong, what about their monarch? What about that world they were coming from?
It was enough to overwhelm her, but she couldn’t show her despair to these people. Being the daughter of the previous admiral, it was impossible for her to show any weakness — either despair or anger.
It was a lesson every heir of an Admiral had to learn.
She was next in line to become an Admiral, if not for rejecting that position due to some unknown reasons known only to her.
"I am fine, Estelle, but the battle at gate four is intense," Morgan stood on his own, using water elements as his support, showcasing precise control over it.
Even with that much control and being in the ocean, for the first time in history, Cratens were cornered.
Five admirals from previous generations, belonging to Estelle’s father, had died, and now even the present Admirals were soon to meet their end with Morgan.
"It’s okay, Hursen is there," she answered with a calm voice, making both couples feel somewhat relieved.
BOOM!
Estelle propelled herself towards the barrier, cutting through all the creatures in front of her, her eyes reflecting the vast sky filled with creatures that were their doom — For Cratens, the surface of the ocean was considered the sky.
WHOOSH
A dense water sword materialized in her hands, turning all the water into a crystalline form upon touching it.
Thousands of crystal spikes formed in the air, filling the whole area for miles, Estelle’s eyes turning crimson due to rage.
An emotion that she had become accustomed to, either in this life or all previous ones, she just had rage at the end and nothing to rely on.
"Why!"
BOOM
Thousands of spikes shot towards the barrier which allowed attacks from inside, causing those crystals to pierce through the dense numbers of creatures, killing thousands even more.
Her eyes, without delay, turned towards one of the generals shrouded in magma, looking at her with a mocking smile — the same one she witnessed every chance she got.
"You Bastards!", Her sword moved forward with her body, tearing through the fire falling on her skin. It burned, but her water protection and healing abilities held, and her speed didn’t fade.
SCHLKT
"Haaa...haaaa," her sword finally pierced through the general standing in front of her.
"Woo-hoo! Goddess Estelle!"
"She saved us again!"
"Thank Aquatoria for blessing us once again!"
Many people, seeing their savior standing like a mountain in front of them, felt their inner fire burning. It was the moment they wanted to witness — a spark to keep them fighting till the end.
’There is no Aquatoria, you stupid Bastards!’ She wanted to shout this...
But remembering how she was a fated Villainess, her words stuck in her throat. She didn’t want to look like an evil person in the eyes of her own people again.
SWISH
Her figure vanished, moving towards the Fourth Gate.
She moved toward the direction where she was going to repeat the same thing she had been doing in every life — killing Hursen Collins.
Estelle Collins was bound to this world’s fate; she couldn’t change anything, even with her future memories.
She was destined to follow the same route after waking up in her academy’s third year.
Her image as a tyrant in the previous two years of the academy, tarnishing her and portraying her as a ruthless villainess, was her last consent when facing her world’s fate.
However, even after attempting to change the upcoming events, she couldn’t do something different from the past or disclose any secrets to others.
She could only watch or partake in small events insignificant to the world’s will — this was what Estelle started to refer to that energy, forcing her to live like a puppet.

BANG!
"’ Indeed a strong fish, we got here "’
Hursen’s eyes reflected the humanoid figure standing in front of him.
Griting his teeth he closed the distance within some seconds appearing infront of that burning humanoid figure," You Bastards"
Hursen’s eyes suddenly in mid-way turned towards a certain direction, reflecting a sword accompanied by a young woman moving towards them.
BOOM!
" Kughh!.....haaa.....haaa", Hursen thrown into some distance, stumbling as he lifted his body witnessing figure of a young woman piercing her sword through that figure’s heart.
SCHLKT
Estelle pulled her sword from the humanoid figure, its body’s flames extinguished before the figure fell on the ground.
Thud
"Estelle... why are you here? What about Uncle Morgan?" Hursen stared at the young woman before him, bewildered, as her blank gaze remained fixed on him.
"They are safe", Estelle’s hollow eyes shifted toward her last resort as she loosened her grip on her drawn sword, moving it towards him.
SCREEECH~
Her sword traced a hard surface as it moved toward Hursen, who continued to look at her with confusion, aware of the exhausting toll the battle had taken.
He exhaled, "Phew, It’s okay, Estelle. You can rest for some time. I will han—"
SCHLKT
’?!?’
"Kughhh... E-Estelle?"
Hursen’s voice trembled, feeling a sword piercing through his chest. He looked at the hands that pressed it, his voice shaking, "W-why?"
"This is another chance, Hursen. Please remember this pain, at least this time" Estelle’s hollow eyes began to well up, a small tear sliding past her eyelashes as she gazed at her last hope—the young man before her.
Even though she knew he would forget everything again, at least his innate ability might allow him to retain some memories of this destroyed world and motivate him to improve it.
Thud
Due to his already exhausted state, Hursen couldn’t withstand the wound in his chest and collapsed to the ground with wide, vacant eyes.
Witnessing the destruction of her small world unfold before her, Estelle retrieved a small blue orb from her space ring—an artifact for containment.
With hollow and exhausted eyes, her fingers triggered the mechanism.
CRUMBLE
The entire Thalassar began to disintegrate—a self-destruction mechanism that Estelle had secretly put in place over the years to prevent these beings from achieving their goal, whatever lengths they might go to.
BOOOOOMM!
A blinding light enveloped the entirety of Thalassar, shrouding everything before her body, which had grown accustomed to such sensations, also succumbed to the overwhelming feeling.

In the capital city of Thalassar, within a big mansion’s room, a young woman lay, her eyes slowly opening.
Raising her hands and gazing at them, her mind braced itself to witness the same events unfolding again, feeling exhausted.
"I just want to REST in this life"
