Chapter 1102: Shifting Blame [Part 2]
Cheers rang out in the City of Atlantis as Ethan's allies celebrated their victory.
"Lleu, go back to the Lands of Saraqael and bring your brother here," Ashmedai ordered. "Only a Conqueror can subjugate this realm and bring it under our control."
"There's no need for that, Your Excellency," Lleu replied before glancing at his son. "Do you dare to take this world as your own, Son?"
Lleu, who had a complicated relationship with Ethan, asked.
Deep inside, he felt ashamed because he never played the part of a good father to his son, who had been separated from him right after his birth.
He was also too busy fighting in the Lands of Saraqael, preventing him from catching up on their lost time and was therefore unable to form a closer relationship with Ethan.
Ethan, who understood his father's difficulties, closed his eyes.
"I'm sorry, Father," Ethan replied. "I can't take over this world right now."
Even if he wished, he didn't have the strength to oppose the will of the world and wrestle the authority from it.
He was already at his limit, trying to remain upright and watch the battle till the very end.
"I see..." Lleu could sense the exhaustion in his son's voice and no longer insisted that Ethan take over the authority of the world.
But just as he was about to go to the Lands of Saraqael, the young man once again spoke, making him stop in his tracks.
"Although I couldn't take the authority of this world at the moment, I know someone who can," Ethan stated.
As if waiting for that moment, a colossal creature appeared on the skies of the Akkadian Realm and made its presence known to everyone.
Ashmedai, Hecate, Lleu, and Balthazar, who weren't aware of how the battle in Migard played out, couldn't help but stare at the enormous beast, whose mere presence was enough to make them raise their guard.
"He's an ally," Ethan stated, not bothering to explain his relationship with the Ouroboros in front of many prying eyes.
The Ouroboros removed its tail from its mouth before flashing a devilish smirk on its Draconic Face.
The Akkadian Realm shook as the Primordial Creature brute-forced its way to claim authority over it.
If Zabab was there, he might have done everything in his power to prevent their homeworld from being conquered by others.
Unfortunately, staying would only lead to his capture, or worse, death, which was something that he didn't want to happen.@@@@
"Fall in line and don't push each other!" a Fairy shouted as she watched their prisoners enter their world with an arrogant look on her face.
"What are you looking at huh?!" Another Fairy, who liked to bully the weak and feared the
strong huffed in anger. "Want a piece of me?!"
"All of you are lucky that our Sugar Daddy is kind and magnanimous! If not for him, all of you
would have become barbecued Locusts!"
"Damn! So many cockroaches! Let's burn them in flames!"
"Don't kill them! Can't you see how cute they are?"
""
"..."
"... Sis, what the f*ck?"
The little peppers, who had short tempers, made sure that the defeated remnants of the Plague Faction would fall in line and enter the portal without resistance.
The Gargoyles, who were also under Ethan's control, monitored this process and turned a blind eye on the Fairies who were kicking the heads of the monsters that glared in their
direction.
This process lasted for nearly an hour before all the subjugated monsters were put under
Ethan's control.
With the Core of the World being guarded by the Ouroboros, no one in their sane minds would try to antagonize it in fear that their worlds would be the next on its itinerary.
When everything was done, Ethan retired inside the castle and laid beside his unconscious
wife, Lily.
His other lovers decided to give them some privacy, for they knew that Ethan needed to be with her right now.
Even Ashmedai didn't nag Ethan for doing something reckless and simply took Lleu and Balthazar back to the Lands of Saraqael.
Only the Progenitor of Magic, Hecate, remained and kept watch on the young man, who was now considered as one of the Champions of the Nine Realms.
